The Puffins had a great time celebrating VE Day. We learnt about the importance of 8th May 1945 and what life was like during the war. We watched video clips and explored what it was like for the evacuees. We made model spitfire planes, decorated biscuits with red, white and blue icing and held our own Year 1 street party in the outside learning area.
