Today we painted the rooster which is symbolic of the dawn of new beginnings, courage, strength and resilience in Romanian folk traditions. The children discussed the famous landmarks of the Scarisoar Glacier and the Statue of Decebalus. They added the flag to their passports and could answer quick quiz questions about the capital city of Bucharest before jetting off to other countries around the school!
