This week in the Wrens we have been putting our counting hats on. We’ve been focusing on 1:1 correspondence - learning to touch each object as we count it so no numbers are skipped! The children have been using practical resources, number flashcards to recognise their numerals and practiced placing the right number of children onto the bus, counting each passenger carefully as they hopped aboard! You could count along at home this weekend—whether it’s counting steps up the stairs, setting out the right number of forks for dinner, or hunting for house numbers on a walk!
