The Woodpeckers had great fun exploring their sense of touch on a playground investigation into different textures yesterday afternoon. This half term they have explored the senses in Science and have shown great knowledge of how parts of the body send messages to the brain when exploring the world around them. Woodpeckers were able to discuss skin as an organ and discovered their fingertips were incredibly receptive to new textures. Great job our mini Scientists!
