This week the children have taken part in a whole class science investigation. We discussed the importance of a fair test and how we could be curious about different outcomes.
We decided to measure the same amount of 5 different liquids: water, salt water, lemonade, vinegar and water with washing up liquid. We didn't like the smell of the vinegar!
We then placed a gummy bear into each liquid and left it for 2 days. We made some observations after day 1 and then concluded our results today. We found that the vinegar made the gummy bear shrink but the washing up liquid water made the gummy bear grow! The other 3 liquids made the gummy bears dissolve.
