This week in EYFS, the children were properly introduced to the new topic 'What Lies Beneath' all about creatures under the sea. During the Child Initiated afternoons the children have been able to create their own sight word rainbows, jellyfish and rainbow fish using celery to paint the scales. They have been creating their own aquariums by painting the large boxes one day and then drawing their own sea creatures the next day once the boxes are dry and they've even been on a sea creatures hunt around the playground!
