Research shows children learn through play and in EYFS we like to make learning fun. This week our focus has been on number bonds to 10. Children have been finding pairs of 10 by bowling and counting how many skittles they started with (10), how many they knocked down and how many they have standing up. They were then challenged to write this as a number sentence. They were also given number cards to 10 and challenged to find their partner. The children had so much fun and the progress and understanding of number bonds to 10 has blown us away!
