This week the children have read the story Tiddler by one of our favourite authors, Julia Donaldson. Tiddler has lots of reasons why he is always late to school from diving with a dolphin to swimming around a shipwreck. The children really enjoyed listening to this story and have now started thinking of their own reasons why Tiddler might be late. We encouraged them to be as crazy and as imaginative as possible!
We were so impressed by today's writing. The children were able to segment and blend independently and most of the children used clear spaces between words and some punctuation without any prompting!
