During our Mental Health Week focus in reception we have explored the theme of 'belonging'. Today we have enjoyed our Movies and Munch time with our friends and have been reminded of the importance of 'belonging' and taking time to relax with our friends.
Throughout the week have been sharing stories about our feelings and discussing ways in which we can help to support one another with expressing and managing our different emotions. In our Sound Bath and Yoga session with Danielle from Serene Mind we explored different ways and breathing techniques to help us to manage these emotions. We were able to take time to relax and feel a sense of calm and peacefulness as we heard the sounds of the chime bars and singing bowls. We were also reminded of the importance of exercise in helping to look after our bodies and minds.
