Wrens Mental Health Week

February 13, 2026

As we wrapped up Mental Health Week at school, the Wrens ended on a wonderfully calm day, it was the perfect way to pause, breathe, and simply be still together.

Our week began with coming into school in non-uniform, an event that always brings plenty of excitement! It was lovely to see the children expressing themselves and feeling relaxed right from the start of the day.

We then took part in singing assembly with Mr Linham, and got our bodies moving in PE, the children enjoyed moving their bodies, working as a team, and feeling the benefits of exercise on both body and mind.

To conclude the week, the children chose activities that make their hearts happy. Some enjoyed playing with friends, others relaxed while listening to music, and many got creative with arts and crafts. It was wonderful to see them recognising the things that bring them joy and taking time to do what makes them feel good.

We ended our special week with a cosy “Movie & Munch,” giving everyone the chance to unwind together. It was the perfect finishing touch to a fantastic week focused on looking after our minds and bodies.

Well done, Wrens, for embracing every activity with such positivity and enthusiasm!
