Today we held our very own Ardleigh Green Toy Museum. We gathered a wonderful collection of toys from the 1940s through to the 1990s, as well as some replica toys from the early 1900s.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to carefully explore and play with these historic toys. They were able to draw on their learning from our history lessons this half term to discuss the different materials the toys were made from and how they have changed over time.
It was a lovely and memorable way to end our topic on Childhood.
