In Maths this week we have been focussing on composition of numbers up to 8. The children have been using their part, part, whole manipulatives to explain how to make given numbers and this has been supported by multilink. They have also been subitising 6, 7 and 8 using pictures of hands and some have been challenged to write the number sentences to make tuis total underneath. Finally they have been sorting different ways of making numbers into the correct columns. It has been an impressive week and we are so proud!
