Y1 Computing - Grouping and Comparing

March 26, 2025

This week Y1 were finally able to use their knowledge of grouping and transfer this to the chrome books! They started off by describing groups (blue and not blue, triangles and not triangles). Then they used the click and drag skills they learned back in the Autumn term to make their own groups using a paint program with clip art pictures. We had some very good ideas including dinosaurs/aliens and food/not food. The children then began to compare their data. Next week, they will be focussing more on comparing and the language they can use to do this.  Well done Y1!
