In Reception we have been learning about International Women's Day which will be celebrated on 8th March. Today we introduced the theme of equality and celebrating women's achievements. We talked to the children about how life was very different for women in the past and how this has changed over time. We linked this to women who are familiar to the children on the television and over the coming weeks we will be celebrating women in many different careers and roles including female Scientists, Authors, Artists and women in our own lives who inspire us too!
