Rocket Testing in the Puffins

March 19, 2025

Lots of super science in the Puffins today as we answered the big question…. Does the length of a rocket determine how far it will fly? We shared ideas, made great predictions and explained our thinking before beginning. We used different length paper strips and kept the rocket fin the same. The construction part was a challenge but we all demonstrated amazing reflection, resilience and resourcefulness. We explored the idea of a fair test and what that would look like before going outside to investigate. We made some super suggestions on how to adapt and change our rockets. Puffins you blew us all away today.
