Wonderful Writers in EYFS!

March 07, 2025
This week we share read Tiddler by Julia Donaldson, a fictional story about a small fish who has a huge imagination and always comes up with some interesting excuses as to why he is late for school!

The children were challenged to have a go at taking on the role of Tiddler and recording their own ideas for why he might be late. The children were encouraged to apply capital letters, finger spaces, full stops, and where possible adjectives to describe their nouns. The children took great pride in their work presentation, striving to form each letter neatly on the lines.
