This week in Maths, the Wagtails have been learning about the mathematical concept of subtraction. We have enjoyed exploring subtraction across many different activities and have been practising using the correct vocabulary and stem sentences to demonstrate our understanding. We have talked about the rules of subtraction, that we always start with the largest number first and how it is especially important to remember this when we record our number sentences!
