AGI Art Club - Scarab Beetles

May 11, 2026

This half term during Art Club the children have been exploring the "Ancient World". This week we looked closer at the ancient Egyptians. Today we have made our very own Scarab beetles using coloured clay, modelling tools, decorative sequins and coloured pipe cleaners. Scarab beetles were important icons of the Egyptian world. They symbolised hope and the restoration of life and were used in jewellery and good luck charms. We hope you like our creations!
