Woodpeckers had a lovely trip to Raphael’s Park as part of our Street Detectives topic! The children were so excited to explore a real park just like Percy’s.
We spotted lots of animals along the way and talked about how they live and what they need to stay safe and happy. We even found Percy’s hut, which sparked lots of imagination and storytelling!
The children also enjoyed a woodland art activity, using natural materials they collected such as leaves, sticks and flowers. It was wonderful to see their creativity and teamwork as they made their own nature-inspired creations. 🍂
