The Kingfishers enjoyed a marvelous trip to Raphael Park on Thursday, stepping straight into the pages of a Percy the Park Keeper story! The children delighted in spotting familiar landmarks, including the bandstand and Percy’s hut, they even managed to find Percy himself with his trusty wheelbarrow.
After exploring, the children created stunning nature art using twigs and leaves gathered on their walk, followed by some quiet time sketching a magnificent oak tree. We rounded off the day with a picnic lunch and an energetic session at the playground. The children were a credit to the school with their exemplary behavior, well done, Kingfishers!
