Prehistoric Predators in the Reception Playground!

April 17, 2026

This week the children in Reception have been enjoying some of  the warm weather. They have been able to further explore their counting skills through gross motor activities, develop their fine motor skills through dinosaur drawing and labelling. Some of the children independently extended this to shadow drawing. The dinosaur costumes have certainly been popular and the children have really taken on their dino roles. We also became our very own paleontologists by digging and brushing fossils in the sand area. We cannot wait for more fun and exciting ways to explore the wonderful world of prehistoric predators.
