Over the last 2 terms, the children in EYFS have been exposed to the work of many different artists including Kandinsky, Molly Mahon and Axel Scheffler. This half term we are exploring the work of Natasha Durley. She is an artist\illustrator from the UK who particularly likes to draw animals, plants and nature. Her art work is often bright and colourful and she gets her ideas from outdoors and the natural world.
This week, the Sparrows have drawn their own dinosaur illustration following a step by step video. They are then designing their own dinosaur, ready to make it out of clay next week. Natasha Durley may need to watch out because there are definitely some budding artists in the Sparrows!
