This morning our Infant Ambassadors were invited to ELAT House to meet the CEO, Mr London, for our academy. We also met Mr Frater who heads the Central Services team, supporting all the schools in our academy and heard about how the team support Ardleigh Green Infants to run and better itself in the future.
Ambassadors sat in the board room and listened to information on the running of the Empower Academy. They were given a guided tour of the departments dealing with Digital Involvement, Finance, HR and got to ask Mr London some questions on behalf of Mrs Hoffman and their peers. Some wish lists of slides, ponds and more reading time were high on the School Ambassadors agenda. All rewarded before departure with the obligatory juice and biscuits!
A great experience for the Ambassadors and a big thanks to Empower resources for use of the minibus to escort us there and back.
