When the children come into class in the morning, after completing their jobs, they sit down with a whiteboard, pen and rubber ready to complete a task. Initially the children would have their name cards and practise writing their name. Now they have completed a whole term with us, we would expect them to be able to write their name confidently and so this week we introduced them to their new challenge. Each day they have a different picture displayed on the board with the 'I can see' sentence starter at the top as a reminder. We now ask children to write their own sentences based on what they can see. We have been so impressed with the writing over the last 3 days. Well done EYFS 👏
