This week the children are looking at their 1:1 counting skills from numbers 1-10. In keeping with our 'To The Rescue' learning journey the children were given the task of placing windows into the skyscrapers of numbered buildings. To challenge and extend some of the children's mathematical understanding of composition of numbers, they were asked to use two different colours to show how each number could be made. From here they were then able to write matching number sentences.
