Today the children explored the most southern continent, Antarctica, by looking closely at Octopus. We discovered that the waters around Antarctica can be as cold as -1.8C so in order to survive such harsh conditions, the octopuses that inhabit these waters have blue blood. We have been working on our sketching skills and were very impressed with our final results!
