KS1 Computing restarted this week and both Y1 and Y2 children are focusing on ‘Programming’. Y1 went straight in using the Beebots, looking at the buttons and learning what each one was and then having a go! They also looked at matching the buttons!
Y2 have not yet started on Beebots but these will arrive very soon. Instead they spoke about the language needed to govern directions and had to give each other directions around the classroom to see if they were able to follow these carefully. They used language like forwards, backwards, left and right but also had to think about how many steps they wanted their partner to take!
It’s going to a fun half term in Computing that’s for sure! Well done KS1, brilliant start!
