We have been learning about St George’s Day in the Puffins and designing our own shields. We discovered lots of interesting facts about St George and the story behind the legend. We also looked at how people today might celebrate. We revisited prior Geography learning from earlier in the year and identified the countries of The United Kingdom. We also recalled the patron Saints of Scotland, Wales and Northern Island.
