Y2 Computing - Being Safe Online

October 08, 2024

This week Y2 have continued to discuss the different types of IT used in school and at home but have also spoken about rules around these. The children shared some rules they have at home regarding their devices and also discussed how to keep safe online!

Some rules we thought were especially good:

iPads only at weekends

iPads only for set amount of times

No iPads before bed

No iPads at the dinner table

Other rules we learned:

Never give out personal information online

Never share passwords

Always ask permission to take photos

No online bullying

Please feel free to revise these points with your children and remind them, especially during times when they’re with their device!
