Diwali in the Kingfishers

October 25, 2024

This week we have been learning all about Diwali. We have been learning about the story of Rama and Sita, we have coloured in Rangoli patterns and created our own fireworks to celebrate The Festival of Lights. During the week we have listened to our friends who celebrate Diwali, they have shared their experiences of how they each celebrate this special festival with their families and friends. We have also been lucky enough to take part in a Diwali dance workshop, the children really enjoyed themselves!
