Black History Month 2024

October 04, 2024

This week Mrs Lewis introduced Black History Month in a special assembly. The children were learning how it is a special month for celebrating the many achievements of black people in the past and today. We found out about famous black civil rights activists, politicians, scientists, engineers, musicians and sportspeople. We will be learning about many of these significant people including Rosa Parks and Mary Seacole over the coming weeks. Please look out for further updates throughout the month!
