Over the last few weeks the children in EYFS have been Scientists learning about their body parts, how the inside of their bodies work and how they change over time. The children have loved playing 'Guess the Baby' this week and comparing how each child has changed, whether this be hair colour, hair growth or even getting taller.
This week they have also been introduced to thinking about their senses. The afternoon activities have incorporated all of this learning and lots of fun has been had. There has been drawing around each other, including the staff members and labelling different body parts. We have also been using pots to test our sense of smell and guess what is inside. Some were lovely smells like sun cream reminding many of us of our holidays, others were not so nice like vinegar which was very strong and reminded many children of chips!
