Last week in our English lessons, we enjoyed exploring the story The Cautious Caterpillar. We took part in a range of exciting activities to help us develop our understanding of the story and bring it to life. We created our own puppets and used them to reenact the story, before completing a story sequence and retelling the events to our table groups. We also got creative with Play-Doh, using it to complete our picture mats and bring our ideas to life. There were lots of opportunities to develop our writing skills too. Using Colourful Semantics, we worked hard to build sentences and share our ideas inspired by the story. It was wonderful to see so much creativity, imagination and enthusiasm throughout our English learning!
