Writing in the Sparrows ✍

 

The Sparrows have started their final term in EYFS showing their writing skills. Over the last 2 weeks they have been learning new sounds and including those sounds within words in Phonics and using Colourful semantics to write some silly sentences about minibeasts. This week our focus text has been 'What the Ladybird Heard' and the children have been writing a plan for the thieves Lanky Len and Hefty Hugh who are hoping to steal the prize cow! We have been blown away with their writing, letter formation and confidence to write! They are certainly showing us they are almost Y1 ready!
