Magnificent Minibeasts in EYFS 🐞 🐛

It is hard to believe we are in the final half term of Reception! We are all so proud of the progress the children have made and how far they've come and as we enter the final few weeks, the new topic 'Magnificent Minibeasts' has been introduced. 

This week the children have had the opportunity to learn new facts about all the different minibeasts, create life cycles of a butterly, draw symmetrical minibeasts, create their own bees and ladybirds using paper plates and have even been using the field for a minibeast hunt! All of these activities are designed to help children achieve the Early Learning Goal in all areas of the EYFS curriculum
