The Sparrows were introduced to a new manipulative this week in Maths, the rekenrek. Initially they were given some time to experiment and shake them just so they could see and hear what the rekenreks do. After that, they were learning how to move each bead and working on counting the correct number from one side to the other. Next week they'll use them to help with heir number bonds to 10,
