This week as part of our topic of Childhood we have been learning about Punch and Judy shows. We learnt that Victorian seaside resorts would entertain children with Punch and Judy shows. They would attract large audiences. We designed our own moving picture of a Punch and Judy show, choosing the colour of the stripes, the type of mechanism we wanted for the moving picture and the two characters we wanted to have. The children were then able to copy their design to make their own moving picture.
