Child-initiated writing in EYFS

Our outdoor writing shed has been transformed into a superhero headquarters this half term in line with our theme 'To the Rescue!' The children were provided with templates to independently record superhero shopping lists, superhero squad lists, and superhero guest lists for their party. ELS sound mats and themed word banks are provided to aid and inspire the children's child-initiated writing.
