This week, the Kingfishers became taste detectives as they explored the fascinating sense of taste. Through a fun and hands-on experiment, the children sampled a variety of foods and worked hard to identify whether each one was salty, sweet, savoury, bitter, or sour.
Their observations were fantastic! The children impressed us with their ability to describe flavours accurately and confidently name many of the foods. Of course, there were also some very funny facial expressions along the way, especially with the sour and bitter tastes!
A big well done to all our budding scientists for their curiosity and enthusiasm!
