Afternoons in EYFS is time for the children to have their child initiated experiences. Activities are set up for the children to participate in but they also have free choice of other resources. So far this week we've been incorporating lots of fine motor activities whilst roleplaying about ourselves and our family. We've been threading, using playdoh to create our faces, roleplaying shopping and drawing round our friends to label their body parts. It has been lots of fun.
