Y1 Celebrate World Wellbeing Week

 This week we celebrated World Well-being Week, taking time to focus on the importance of looking after our mental , emotional and physical well-being. The event began with a whole school assembly lead by Mrs Foulser where she revisited the key well-being messages that have been taught throughout the year as part of our PSHE curriculum. The children took part in a variety of engaging activities in their classrooms to deepen their understanding of well-being and emotional regulation. These included Daily Well-being Boost discussion slides, watching and completed a series of BBC short videos supporting the children to explore practical ways to cope with those big emotions and also morning mindfulness soothing pencil control activities.
