Today the children in the Wrens took part in their first PE lesson. We started with a warm-up activity to get us ready, we then played duck, duck goose. This helped develop the children's running and balancing skills in order to beat the chaser. They also had to work on their listening, concentration and decision making skills in order to know when it was their turn or who they wanted to choose to take part. This turn-taking game was a good starting point for the children and enabled them to understand the concept of waiting and taking turns fairly. We ended our PE lesson with a short yoga session to stretch out our muscles.
