Y1 loved their outside tuff tray learning experiences this week. The children enthusiastically engaged and rose to the challenges on offer. During our English and Maths carousel they used their phonics skills to find missing graphemes and make words. They built aliens and read their nonsense word names. In Maths they identified missing numbers on number tracks and worked on 1 more and 1 less than a given number then building a tower with the correct number of blocks. We are so proud of our curious, confident and collaborative Y1 learners.
