World Well-being Week in the Kingfishers.

 Today we began thinking about our well-being. We started the day with a mindfulness, calming, colouring activity, where the children had to talk about the word of the day. Later we read ‘I Try’ a book all about resilience and not giving up. We also talked about what well-being means to us and the children came up with some great ideas including who to talk to, how to help people, different emotions and feelings we may encounter, and how we can help each other. Children shared their own personal thoughts about what helps us relax, what makes us happy and who we trust. We finished the day with silent playtime, an absolute winner!
