This half term we have been learning all about Christianity, the Puffins enjoyed their visit to All Saints Church this week, where they were given the opportunity to see at first hand many of the important and special artefacts they had learnt all about in school. The children enjoyed playing the organ and were fascinated by the large pipes and how the air is pushed through to create the sound. They were shown the font where babies are christened and the lectern where the Bible is read from during services. The children listened carefully to the story of the first Christmas and asked the priest in charge Lisa Bewick lots of great questions to extend their learning. A huge thank you to all the team at All Saints Church for makes us so welcome and a fantastic visit.
