This half term we have been learning about Christianity. On Monday, the Kingfishers visited All Saints Church and met the priest Lisa Berwick. we were able to look around the church and see the special artefacts we had learnt about in our RE lessons. The children even had a go at playing the organ! They were shown the font where babies are christened and the lectern where the Bible is read from during services. The children listened carefully to the story of the first Christmas and asked the priest lots of great questions.
We had a great time visiting the church.
