Eid Al-Adha
This week
both schools have been learning about Eid Al-Adha. We have discussed how this festival is
celebrated within the Islamic Faith and learnt how Eid Al-Adha is a significant
festival in the Islamic calendar. We’ve shared the story of Prophet Ibrahim and
how Eid Al-Adha became a time for Muslims to remember sacrifice, trust in God,
and help others in need by giving to charity.
Both
schools held a special assembly to find out more about this festival. Thank you to Mrs Choudhury for attending and sharing with us how her family celebrates.
Thank you
to our PA for organising an Eid gift for all children.
Eid
Mubarak to our families who will be celebrating over the coming days. We hope you enjoy the occasion.
