Last week we welcomed caterpillars into Reception. This week the children have been observing the changes taking place during the butterfly lifecycle. The caterpillars have been eating and eating and have grown rapidly in size. Many of the caterpillars have entered the next stage of their lifecycle and the children are fascinated by the chrysalis stage. Excitement is building in anticipation of the transformation into painted lady butterflies over the next few weeks.
