This half term the Woodpeckers have started to learn all about their focus artist Maurice Sendak. The famous author and illustrator well known for his cross hatching technique and his use of pen and ink. This week we have explored manipulating paper into different shapes to create our very own 3D model. We will then move on to use our model making skills to create our very own 'Wild Thing' from Maurice Sendak's famous book 'Where the Wild Things are'.
