Super Scientists in the Wrens

February 08, 2024
This week the children in the Wrens have been Super Scientists! We have been exploring the process of freezing and melting. The children chose 4 superhero characters to freeze in a liquid by placing them securely in the school kitchen freezer. The following day the children selected 4 different locations to observe which environment would help the superheroes to escape. One scientist suggested placing the trapped character into warm water. The children were amazed when they realised which one had melted (escaped) first.
